Location is very close to jr ueno station
shared shower room, it should have shower cubicles but it doesn't.
It was a friendly place. They are always open so no worries with a late arrival. Really close to station (really good location) and room was clean.
The only thing we thought wasn't that great was the shower room. The roof had some mold and the floor was really dirty. If you wear flip flops in then no worries :).
toilet and bath public very old, smoking every area and near room
Great Location, clean but basic very old definitely not 5 star great for a cheap night or 2. Would stay again if for only one night
Bit old but clean enough.
The staff is friendly
The hostel is dirty and full of bugs, like hundreds of bed bugs who made us change to another hotel. We got the money back for the days we didn´t stay.
Hostel Komatsu is perfectly located for a stop over night or two in Tokyo for someone on a budget.
